The annual Pacific Building Trade Expo continues to be a notable draw card since its inception almost two decades ago. With more than 300 vendors, both local and national, it is a significant event in the calendar of Hawaii’s design and building industry. Free admission is offered to all AEC industry professionals. If you are anywhere in the region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey or New York states, this is a trade show you won’t want to miss. With over 200 exhibitors taking part, there will be a comprehensive display of services and products relating to building and facilities. This includes everything to do with operating, managing, maintaining and renovating. At the same time as the trade show there will also be a series of educational sessions on topics such as Sustainability, LEED, Energy, Green, Construction and Design among others. As such it is no wonder that it takes place in the largest convention center in North America – McCormick Place, which comprises four spacious and advanced buildings. 4. UK, Milton Keynes: 14-15 Nov 2018

This two day event is a must for anyone involved in the lifting and rigging industry. Liftex 2018 is a global event with over 1000 industry professionals and more than 800 exhibitors. As the flagship event of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), this is the 14th annual exhibition. It will be held at the Marshall Arena (formerly Arena MK) in Milton Keynes. Opening time is 10:00 each day, until 17:00 on the 14th and until 15:30 on the 15th. Come and connect with professionals in the industry and benefit from the presentations and exhibitions. If you need accommodation there are a number of hotels nearby, including the Doubletree by Hilton which is located at the exhibition site.

Switzerland’s Edilespo 2018 is organized by Sacchi Edizioni Techniche & Commerciali SA di Manno. Entry is free for all in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the SSIC which is a Swiss company for entrepreneurs. The venue is the Lugano Exhibition Centre which is about 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre. It is also easily accessible by taxi or train.
