Healthy advance bookings and much larger outside area at the new Amsterdam venue promise to make the eighth APEX show the best yet.
The eighth APEX aerial platform exhibition, being held in Amsterdam on 24-26 June, 2014, promises to be the most successful ever, with the new location and larger outside area proving a big attraction for exhibitors. The Amsterdam location, close to Schiphol Airport, will make it much easier for visitors to attend.
Next year’s show will be the first held outside Maastricht, with the new venue at Amsterdam’s RAI centre providing a fantastic indoor space and double the outdoor area. The dates are also new, with the show moving to late June from its traditional September dates.
Even at this early stage the indoor space is already 85% sold and the outdoor area – double the space available at Maastricht – is 65% sold.
APEX will also be held alongside the third International Rental Exhibition (IRE) and the annual convention of the European Rental Association (ERA). The ERA meeting attracts more than 350 delegates, comprising leaders of many of Europe’s largest rental companies.
APEX 2014 will attract the cream of the world's access manufacturers, established major buyers and a wide range of new potential customers and exhibitors. Besides the well-known manufacturers from Europe and the USA there are already several stand bookings from China as well.
The event, which is organised by Industrial Promotions International (IPI) and officially supported by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and by Access International magazine will be taking place in Hall 1 of the RAI Centre in Amsterdam and IRE in Hall 2. There is also a very attractive outside area for APEX at the square in front of the RAI Centre.
Tony Kenter, managing director of Industrial Promotions International (IPI), is happy with the switch of venue and the support he is getting from previous and new exhibitors: “We have already confirmed reservations for more than 4000 square meters which is over 85% of the anticipated space inside the hall. For the outside area we have already applications for near 3000 square metres, which is approximately 65% of the anticipated space, being around 4500 m2. This is double the size of the outside area in Maastricht during the last APEX in 2011. APEX 2014 promises to be bigger than ever before.”
