BUILDEX 2012 is the 14TH Saudi International Building and Construction Exhibition, which was held to provide the ultimate platform for companies to showcase their products, services and expertise in Dammam.
The Eastern Province provides the ideal location for BUILDEX as it is a key part of the boom in the Construction sector, with the figures for the provinces Mega projects clearly reflecting this potential:
-A US$ 3.8 million investment in the Jubail Industrial City
-and a further impressive investment figure of US$ 27 billion for the Jazan Economic City
The 14th edition BUILDEX was opened on March 18th by Eng. Shujaa Y. Al-Musleh, Deputy Mayor of Municipal Affairs, Ministry of Municipality of Eastern Province and the Exhibition welcomed over 1000 visitors on the opening day.
Growing international interest and recognition of the Kingdom as a major investment destination, is stimulating both interest and demand for niche Trade Exhibitions, where companies can maximise their time and budgets by meeting new contacts under one roof.
Saudi Arabia, as the construction leader in the Gulf area, has budgeted US$385 billion on roads, airports and energy projects for the five-year period from 2010 to 2014, making events like BUILDEX of even greater importance.
Exhibitors provided an excellent international representation, with companies from countries including Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
Contemporary Saudi House Seminar held at 14th BUILDEX Exhibition
Albenaa Magazine as the Official Country Publication for the 14th BUILDEX Exhibition, hosted a ‘’Contemporary Saudi House Seminar” on its stand in the Main Hall during the 14th BUILDEX Exhibition. The speakers were from the Municipality of the Eastern province, including famous Architects, Real Estate Developers and Building Material Providers
