Demonstration Highlights at Plantworx – Part Four! Final look at the demo stands at the show before kick off!

Doosan Construction Equipment will be showing new products from the company’s Doosan Heavy, Bobcat and Doosan Portable Power ranges. This will include the first UK appearance of the new Doosan Dash 5 range of crawler and wheeled excavators, wheeled loaders and articulated dumptrucks (ADT’s) which meet the latest Stage 4 emission regulations.
Several Bobcat products will also be making their debuts at Plantworx, including the new S450 skid-steer loader, the new E17 to E20 1-2 tonne compact excavators and new Bobcat telehandlers. The stand display will be completed by new generators and compressors from Doosan Portable Power.
Plantworx 23 Miller PowerLatch Tilt Coupler SML
Miller UK will be showcasing the latest additions to its Cast PowerLatch range of quick couplers at Plantworx 2015. As the world leader in safety-led coupler technology, Miller adds a 3.5T PowerLatch coupler to its current offering to complete the range. The Miller Cast PowerLatch coupler is now available from 3.5T to 45T, with fabricated solutions to suit models up to 120T.
Another addition to the range is the PowerLatch Tilt coupler which builds upon the proven Miller TwinLock design. With up to 180o tilt functionality, the PowerLatch Tilt provides additional movement and improves versatility and flexibility.
Plantworx  24 Cat 313F L GC
Finning UK will be displaying a wide variety of Caterpillar products on its stand including backhoe loaders, excavators, skid steer loaders, telehandlers, pavers and compaction equipment. In addition on the demonstration area visitors will be able test drive a selection of Cat’s latest products including the 432F2 backhoe loader, 301.7 & 302.7D mini excavators, 308E midi excavator and the much anticipated 313F L GC, a 14 tonne class excavator which has been designed specifically for the UK plant hire sector.
Plantworx Komatsu PC210LCi-10
Marubeni-Komatsu will be displaying a wide range of its products at Plantworx, but the star machine on its plot looks set to be the PC210LCi-10 which features Komatsu’s exclusive machine control and guidance system, fully integrated with all other qualities and benefits of a standard Komatsu PC210LC-10 excavator. Thanks to the exclusive control function, the operator will no longer have to worry about digging too deep or damaging a target surface. From rough digging to finish grading, the PC210LCi-10 excavator can dramatically improve efficiency, precision and safety on the work site.
Much more than just machine guidance, this latest Komatsu technology is a revolution in how hydraulic excavators will be used in the coming years.
Plantworx JCB 67C_1
JCB will showcase models from its world-leading telescopic handler range, brand new series of compact excavators, ground-breaking site dumpers and award-winning hybrid generator line-up at Plantworx 2015.
Two of JCB’s new site dumpers models – which range in size from one to 10 tonnes – will be shown. The 6-tonne machine, designed for high carrying capacity in large earthmoving projects will be on static display while the 3-tonne version will be part of JCB’s live demonstrations throughout the show.
Also showcased will be the G90QSi – part of JCB’s groundbreaking, fuel-saving Inteli-Hybrid generator range which has won the Engineering category in the Plantworx 2015 Innovation Awards and was highly commended in the Green category. The sets bring reduced cost of ownership to JCB customers – by delivering a highly efficient solution to the ever-changing load requirements on off-grid sites.
The compact JCB Loadall 525-60 has a lift height of 6m and a load capacity of 2.5 tonnes. At just 1.84m wide and 1.89m tall, it boasts multi-mode, four-wheel steering – providing access to multi-storey car parks and operation in confined site conditions.
Powered by a 2.5-litre, JCB Diesel by Kohler four-cylinder engine, the 525-60 delivers 55kW (74hp) for easy lifting performance and rapid travel without the need for a diesel particulate filter or an SCR system to meet the Tier 4 Final emissions regulations.
The 67C-1 is a 6.5-tonne class, conventional tail-swing compact excavator, delivering durability, efficiency and productivity thanks to an innovative family design. Key features include a tier 4 final engine with no DPF, 30º tilting cab for excellent service access, 500 hour greasing interval, 100% steel bodywork for excellent durability and the JCB “2 Go System”.
Alongside these models JCB will show models from its extensive machine range, including: brand new site dumpers, compact tracked loaders, compaction equipment, lighting towers, backhoe loaders and compact, tracked and wheeled excavators.
Plantworx Wacker Neuson 803
Amongst its wide range of equipment on display at Plantworx Wacker Neuson will display its award winning DualPower 803 compact mini excavator which utilises diesel power to and from its work position before switching to electric drive to allow it to work in confined spaces or applications where emissions cannot be tolerated.
Plantworx Hydrema_912ES
Hydrema, the Danish owned earth moving equipment manufacturer will be returning to exhibit at PLANTWORX Construction Equipment Exhibition 2015.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Hydrema in the UK. The Danish company will be showing the 912E 10 tonne dump truck – which is making its PLANTWORX premiere – the machine has a tier 3B Cummins engine with 20% more torque and 7% more hp.
Also on the display will be the popular 922D 22 tonne 6×6 articulated dump truck along with the new MX14 wheeled excavator.
