Ecobuild India 2013 Mumbai, India – 16 – 18 April 2013

India has seen to be blossoming for several years in the construction industry, which is currently reported to be worth in the region of US$300 billion – rising to US$500 billion by 2015.
The country is continuing to undergo great economic growth and has a growing interest in the area of sustainable development. Ecobuild is held every year in London and now offers shows around the globe. Last year, Ecobuild held their first show in Asia with Ecobuild China. This year the inaugural shows of Ecobuild India and Ecobuild SE Asia to be held in Kuala Lumpar in September, are being introduced to the sustainable building industry.
The London Ecobuild show attracts almost 60,000 visitors every year and Ecobuild China pulled in over 16,000 in 2012. There is likely to be a lot of interest in this show, the first to be held in India.
The improvement of the country’s infrastructure is the current focus of the Indian government. This includes Improvement of water facilities, roads and power to support the 380 million people who currently reside in cities.
