Architect@Work London is a premier, invitation-only trade event for architects, interior designers, and specifiers, held at the iconic Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. The two-day show brings together the architecture and design community to explore more than 200 carefully selected innovations, each vetted by a jury of architects and interior designers.
This event is a hotspot for product innovation, featuring a wide range of materials, finishes, building systems, software, and interior fittings. The exhibition space is specially designed: traditional aisles are reimagined as lounge areas where attendees can relax, engage in meaningful conversations, and discover emerging technologies in a more informal setting.
Alongside the exhibition, there is a curated talks programme that reflects the event’s theme. For example, the 2024 edition centred on “People + Planet: designing from the ground up”, addressing topics like biophilia, neurodiversity, wellness, and embodied carbon — as well as new applications for materials like timber and stone. The speaker lineup included leading voices from studios and firms renowned for innovation and sustainability.
Networking is a key element of Architect@Work London. The show offers free catering and an open bar, making it easier for architects and designers to connect and collaborate in a relaxed but professional environment. The event also includes a RIBA pop-up bookshop, giving attendees access to curated architectural literature.
