ARCHITECT@WORK Marseille

Architect@Work Marseille is a distinguished trade fair for architects, interior designers, and construction specifiers.

This edition centers on the theme “Ressources du Sud”, which emphasizes Mediterranean materials, indigenous craftsmanship, and sustainable, regionally sourced techniques. The show matches that vision with more than 300 new products, carefully selected from manufacturers who propose innovative, climate-adapted solutions.

Architect@Work Marseille also presents curated exhibitions. One is Sobriexpo, organized by Innovathèque, which invites reflection on circular economy principles such as reuse, reduction, and regeneration.  Another is MATERIA Architectures, a photographic exhibition spotlighting eco-constructions made from natural materials like earth, stone, and plant fibers.

In addition, the event features a strong conference program. Experts and architects discuss topics such as resource reuse, wood construction, environmental sobriety, and heritage techniques.  Speakers include Gilles Perraudin, Mathieu Grenier, Arnaud Autric, and other leaders in sustainable design.

Moreover, Architect@Work Marseille operates on an invitation-only basis.  Only architects, interior architects, and prescribers gain access—ensuring a highly professional audience. The organizers also provide free catering and comfortable networking lounges to support informal and meaningful conversations.

Finally, the fair fosters artistic as well as technical exchange. For example, Fabrice Serafino, a designer-artist, created an installation in osier (wicker) that reflects the southern-resource theme.

Overall, Architect@Work Marseille offers a refined, inspiring platform. It combines design innovation, local heritage, sustainability, and professional networking — making it a must-attend event for forward-thinking architecture professionals.
