Exhibitors showcase building systems, façade technologies, interior finishes, lighting, and advanced software tools.
The event layout differs from a typical trade fair. Instead of long aisles, Architect@Work Vienna uses compact modules and relaxed seating areas. These zones encourage conversation and make networking easy. Free catering and drinks create a comfortable atmosphere, allowing visitors to meet designers, suppliers, and manufacturers without pressure.
The Architect@Work Academy offers short, insightful talks throughout the event. Experts explore themes such as sustainable construction, circular materials, and new design strategies. Visitors gain valuable knowledge they can apply directly to ongoing or future projects.
A special materials exhibition titled “Lightweight.construction”, curated by raumprobe, highlights resource-efficient materials and smart construction methods. The World-Architects project wall presents 40 projects that focus on lightweight structures and simple, effective building solutions. Interviews and case studies complement the visual showcase.
Architect@Work Vienna also features “Sea of Stories” by Studio Quirin Krumbholz, a kinetic installation that adds an artistic dimension to the event. The piece invites visitors to reflect on creativity, movement, and spatial experience.
