Genquip/Groundhog gets the pulses racing at Scot Plant

With environmental issues at the forefront of the UK construction machinery industry, Genquip/Groundhog utilised the 2018 Scot Plant equipment show to display two of their environmentally weighted mobile welfare units.
Working in close liaison with their Coatbridge based partners, D & S Plant Services, the company showcased their 5m and 3.6m Fusion Pulse mobile welfare units. Exclusively available from Genquip/Groundhog, the Fusion Pulse system range features intelligent solar technology. This solar/hybrid method delivers cost-effective, efficient and environmentally sensitive power to the Groundhog range of mobile and static welfare units. Fusion Pulse helps to increase an operator’s eco-efficiency, whilst making genuine savings on fuel and servicing costs. The company has estimated that the Fusion Pulse system reduces generator running hours by up to 80% alongside a similar fuel reduction with corresponding CO2 emissions.
“We had a very busy two days, particular on the Friday”, explained D & S owner, David Paterson. ”Visitors to our stand were impressed with the environmental credentials of the Fusion Pulse system and many commented on the fact that the Groundhog units are so simple and easy to operate.”
“We used Scot Plant to inform our Scotland based customers that we offer a complete package of services, including a comprehensive training programme for all users of Genquip/Groundhog units”, added Dave.
D & S Plant Services have been a partner with Genquip/Groundhog for many years, providing a full maintenance and spare parts service for clients in Scotland.
