Last week we shared an overview with you on the construction shows during the first part of October. Well hold on to your hardhat as we whizz through the shows that are on after that.
October 9 – 12 : FinnBUILD 2012 – Helskini, Finland
One of the most exciting things about this year’s show is the theme of the show – the future of building. There are plenty of opportunities to know more about what is predicted with several talks and exhibits. The most innovative products will also be put to the test before a jury. October 10 – 11 : Building Green 2012 – Copenhagen, Denmark
There’s a lot going on in Scandinavia with another big show, this time to the south in Denmark. This show will be attended by the big players when it comes to sustainability and the reduction of energy consumption in relation to construction and new buildings. There are plenty of exhibits to see and talks to attend. The Council of Foreign Affairs offer the opportunity to talk one on one for those looking for trade opportunities. October 11 – 14 : Stivex – Bucharest, Romania
This cargo and material handling themed show also focuses on storage and shelving solutions. Some of the biggest names such as Toyota, Still and Cat are taking part in this year’s event. Plenty of forklift trucks, parts and accessories will be on display amongst over transportation systems. It’s also a chance to network with experienced consultants in the trades. October 13 – 16 : ADDISBUILD – Addis Adaba, Ethiopia
Africa’s 2nd most populous country is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, according to the Economist. This year’s show is the third ADDISBUILD held and has a wide range of construction related exhibits including landscaping, building materials and systems and our favourite, specialist vehicles.
