Hard Hat Expo is the only construction equipment and services trade show in New York. It’s been running since 1988 and caters to the northeast of the US predominantly.
Over the years there has been some considerable growth in the show with more and more exhibitors using the event to get their products and techniques seen by the attendees. The NY Fairgrounds makes the ideal venue for the event, which is now so large that it has taken over 2 large indoor exhibition buildings and a large outdoor area.
The 8,500 attendees are a combination of contractors and municipalities mostly from New York State. Big name equipment and services providers including Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu and JCB participate in the show.
For those who like a little fun whilst they do business, there is a chance to take part in the Backhoe and Skid Steer Rodeos. Hold on tight, cowboy!
