Highly successful BAUMAG 2010

The 14th BAUMAG offered a quality tradefair in the new halls of the Messe Luzern. 15,800 visitors enjoyed their visit to Lucerne and informed themselves at the approx. 200 exhibitors about latest machines and equipment.

The exhibitors were highly satisfied with the smooth running of the show and the personal on-the-spot support by the tradefair team. This was confirmed by the new tradefair manager, Andreas Hauenstein, and he added “they profited through direct business transactions, interesting customer dialogues and returned home with realistic follow-up orders.” The trade visitors travelled from all four parts of Switzerland. Furthermore a good number of Austrian, German, Italian and even Japanese companies attended the fair.

Bricklayer Talents
Besides the legendary mini-excavator competition a further elimination process took place for the World Skills Championships in London 2011. Four talented bricklayers competed with each other of which three could qualify for a further contest.

Next BAUMAG already in February 2011
There is high motivation for the exhibitors to participate again in the next BAUMAG from 24th to 27th February 2011: Already before the tradefair closed, the first registrations for the upcoming show arrived, nota bene, requesting larger floor space. Thus the forecast for yet another successful 15th BAUMAG 2011 looks highly promising. It is the sole national construction machine tradefair and offers a distinguished highlight with the Swiss Bricklayer`s Championship.
