Huge Success at the 5th RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE – For 5 years the No.1 Meeting Point for Energy in Romania

For the 5th time REECO hosted the largest and most important event on renewable energy and energy efficiency in Romania, RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE. The event took place at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, between 21-23/11/2012. Since 2008 RENEXPO® became known as one of the largest energy platforms in the region of South-East Europe and the No.1 meeting point of the solar and wind field in the capital of Romania, for key persons and experts. The fair offers many opportunities and energy solutions on a large scale, for both present and future.
„RENEXPO® created a new vision for renewable energy becoming the no.1 meeting point in South-East Europe. The 4355 specialists visitors show the great interest in Romania for this field. Over 130 exhibitors from 14 countries, on 2 continents enjoyed three successful days. The side events as the workshops and the specialised conferences taking place in parallel with the trade fair will support to the national market developments. The trade fair presented to experts, specialists in the energy field the entire spectrum of renewable energy. Among the event topics were: wind energy, solar energy, hydropower, bioenergy, energy efficiency and cogeneration. RENEXPO® hosted this year a German Joint Booth, on a surface of 100m², with 12 exhibitors organized in collaboration with the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce.
The official trade fair opening ceremony was held by Sebastian METZ General Director of the Romanian – German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Johann-Georg RÖHM, CEO REECO Company, Germany and Avena Gall-Tamas, General Director REECO RO EXPOZIȚII SRL.
RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE obtained the support of leading sponsors: Gamesa, IDNAMIC East SRL, Ravano Solar Romania SRL, Andoker Impex SRL, ET Solar Group, IBC SOLAR s.r.o, RomNed industrial foundation equipment – Vermeer Romania, IDEEMASUN energy GmbH, REC and Canadian Solar and it was organized with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, as well as with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The 5 conferences, workshops and related events that took place in parallel with the fair drew over 580 participants from all over the country and from: Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Dubai, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Serbia, Spain and also USA. At the conferences were debated topics such as: solar energy, wind energy, bioenergy, hydropower, energy efficiency and cogeneration.
For the first time RENEXPO® offered the “Renewable Energy Award” for an outstanding personality to Mrs. Hermina Albert, ISPE Counsellor and the award for an innovative technology to ERATIC Spain. The award for the most original booth at RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE was given to PM Service from Italy. A lucky visitor won a week-end for two persons in December offered by Hotel Continental Forum Sibiu.
To give continuity to the event, REECO group will organize in March next year the 5th edition of ENREG ENERGIA REGENERABILA®, 06th – 08th of March 2013 that will take place in Arad, at Expo Arad International, followed between 20th – 22nd of November 2013 by the 6th edition of RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE in Bucharest.
