Infra Oman 2013 which will be held from 30 September – 02 October, is organized in co-operation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and supported by German Industry & Commerce Office (AHK), German Near & Middle East Association (NUMOV), Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Spanish Economic & Trade Office, Ministry of Economy (DTM), UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association (CSDA) and Vietnam Association of Construction Contractors (VACC).
In its inaugural edition, Infra Oman won the CMO Asia-Event Industry Award 2012 held in Singapore for the Most Admired Event in the Middle East. Infra Oman is the first & only exhibition in the Sultanate of Oman to be “BPA Audited”. The audit gives the sponsors & exhibitors certified and accurate number of trade visitors to compare with other exhibitions and invest their money in the right event. This will also help to prepare logistically from the right size of the booth to quantity of sales materials and demonstrate ROI based on the ratio of leads generated to total visitors. Infra Oman was recently enlisted as a “UFI Approved Event” by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), a well-recognized representative body of the international trade fair sector.
In the 2012 edition, more than 175 local and international firms exhibited with international participation from 27 countries including Country Pavilions from Iran, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Turkey and the United Kingdom. For the first time this year there will be a Japanese pavilion in Oman in the Infra Oman 2013 exhibition.
The exhibition will focus on Construction Requirements, Green & Future Buildings, Heavy Equipment and Technology, Hotel & Tourism Projects, Industrial Free Zones, Industry & Manufacturing, Power and Water Technologies, Renewable Energy and Environment, Tools & Equipment, Transportation and Logistics, Infrastructure Projects – Roads, Airport, Railway & Ports – Build & Supply.
