ScotPlant 2024 well on course to be record event

SCOTPLANT 2024 is on course to be the biggest event in the show’s illustrious history, with almost 200 exhibitors already signed up with over five months still to go!

The most important event in the Scottish construction equipment industry calendar returns to the Royal Highland Centre, near Edinburgh, on Friday April 26 and Saturday April 27, 2024.

A plethora of first-time exhibitors have joined established names and manufacturing giants in a stellar line-up, making the 2024 edition of the long-running exhibition almost certain to eclipse the previous record-breaking show of 2022.

Since our last update in August, a flurry of ScotPlant debutants have added their names to the exhibitor list. They include trailer specialist Goldhofer AG, Advance Training Scotland, and CTE UK, a provider of aerial platforms. Also in attendance for the first time will be Mauchline-based Ve-Tech Concrete, trenchless and suction excavation equipment supplier Mammoth MTS, and Ireland’s first tiltrotator manufacturer, Versaffix.

PQS Survey, which recently announced the opening of its first Scottish depot in Glasgow, is another debutant. So too is Powerhand, which makes attachments for the forestry, rail, and recycling sectors.

Fireward, a supplier of automatic fire suppression systems, Dunfermline’s Gibbs Vehicle Hire, digital software specialist Spartan Solutions, and Vermeer UK, a provider of equipment ranging from mini skid-steers to tracked trenchers, have also signed up in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Kirkcaldy-headquartered Astrak is returning to ScotPlant for the first time since 2018, while Snorkel UK – a debutant in 2022 – has confirmed it will be returning in 2024.

Other recent developments include the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) taking an outdoor stand for the first time, and United Rentals increasing the size of its stand.

As always, ScotPlant will feature the latest machinery and innovations from many of the world’s top construction equipment brands including CASE, Caterpillar, Doosan, engcon, Hitachi, Hyundai, JCB, Kobelco, Komatsu, Kubota, Liebherr, LiuGong, Manitou, Rokbak, Rototilt, SANY, Steelwrist, Takeuchi, Wacker Neuson, and many, many more.
