For the first time, customers in Russia had the chance to see the new LG6210E excavator. Suitable for general construction, the LG6210E delivers high productivity and operator comfort while retaining SDLG’s signature reliability and cost-effectiveness.
The LG6210E excavator is now available to customers in Russia after its launch alongside three other SDLG machines at the bauma CTT show.
Russia’s construction industry is expected to reach US$301 billion by 2021 according to Construction Intelligence Center. As the construction market in Russia continues to improve, SDLG showcased four stand-out machines that are ideal for general construction during bauma CTT Russia in June.
“Russia is one of the largest markets for SDLG worldwide. We are looking forward to supporting the country’s growing construction activity here,”
said Aleksandr Matveenko, project manager for SDLG in Russia.
“During bauma CTT Russia, we showcased four machines that have been proven in other markets as cost-effective and reliable options for applications such as road and general construction, material handling and agricultural work.”
The four SDLG machines displayed included an LG6210E excavator, an LG978 wheel loader, a G9220 motor grader, along with one totally new RS7120 drum roller. SDLG also held machine demonstrations of the LG6210E excavator and the LG978 wheel loader during bauma CTT Russia, which was held from June 5 to 8 at Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow.
Leading the array of new machines for the Russian market is the LG6210E excavator. The LG6210E has an operating weight of 20,700 kg and an X-shape undercarriage frame, which provides a rigid and durable platform for the toughest of working environments.
The LG6210E features a high-torque, fuel-efficient turbocharged Dalian Deutz engine with an intercooler, which cools the air compressed by the turbocharger. This allows denser, more oxygen-rich air to funnel through the engine, improving combustion and generating more power. The LG6210E has a maximum digging reach of 9,940 mm, a maximum digging depth of 6,730 mm, and a maximum cutting height of 9,450 mm.
SDLG machines are available in Russia through Higer Bus Rus LLC, based in Moscow.
“We are proud of the LG6210E excavator and believe customers will like how this machine performs. One feature that stand outs is the engine’s preheating system, which kicks in when the coolant temperature drops below 5°C. Since temperatures in Russia can get very low, this feature can help preserve engine quality and machine performance,”
Matveenko said.
