Mississauga, Ontario- The excitement is growing for the country’s largest heavy equipment event, the National Heavy Equipment Show (NHES), which will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga, this Thursday and Friday, April 18-19, 2013.
“We are very excited to return to Mississauga for the 13th edition of this event,” says National Show Manager, Mark Cusack. “We have over 300 exhibitors which is one of our largest exhibitor bases to date,” explained Cusack. “Pre-registration numbers are way up over 2011 which is definitely a positive sign and we are aiming for big attendance this year,” said Cusack. The show typically draws 11,000 buyers over the course of 2 days.
The NHES will encompass a huge portion of the massive International Centre and will showcase the leaders of the Heavy Equipment and Construction Industry. Over 331,000 square ft. of exhibit space has been sold which is equivalent to 7.5 acres! This event is mammoth!
Several Heavy features that will showcase specialized industries and equipment will include the Gravel Pit, the Rental Pavilion, the Backhoe Rodeo, and the all new Winter Management Show and educational program.
The Bell Push to Talk Backhoe Rodeo will be a crowd pleaser as always as the regions most skilled operators put these huge machines through their paces. Good luck to all participants. Registration starts at show open on both days.
The Winter Management Show presented by SIMA, the Snow and Ice Management Association, will offer a unique opportunity to network with the top manufacturers, distributors and dealers from the leading snow and ice management companies.
