With the GIPO P 101 GIGA and GIPO P 111 GIGA, the Swiss premium manufacturer will exhibit two new models from its successful and proven impact crusher series at BAUMA 2025. “Compact, flexible and trendsetting” are the key characteristics of our new generation of crushers.
Quality, reliability and performance – for GIPO these are the cornerstones of its success over recent decades. The company, based in Seedorf on Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, is considered to be the inventor of tracked and fully hydraulic crushing plants. The extensive product range of tracked impact crushing plants is indicative of how the company has been able to convince customers all over the world during its more than fifty-year history.
Based on this experience, a new chapter is now beginning: the GIPO P 101 GIGA and GIPO P 111 GIGA are two new impact crushers that can be described as pioneering, without exaggeration. Anyone who knows GIPO knows that we approach new developments in particular with great care. For these two new impact crushers, the objectives were clearly specified: less weight, lower fuel consumption with even lower emissions, space-saving and purposeful arrangement of all power units, an alternative and energy-efficient drive option with genset (drive provided purely electrically via the electricity supply or via a diesel generator that produces the electrical power) and ferrous metal discharge in a transverse or longitudinal direction. It goes without saying that these objectives meet GIPO’s own quality standards.
The compact class – redefined
The new GIPO P 101 GIGA has a number of technical features that clearly emphasise the performance of the new model: these include the very robustly designed impact crusher with an impact crusher inlet of 970 x 800 mm and a rotor diameter of 1,100 mm, as well as the 2-deck final screening machine and light material separation using an air classifier. The separate two-deck pre-screening significantly improves the quality of the end product by removing wear-intensive fine material, flaky particles and any impurities. At the same time, crushing performance is increased and wear is reduced. A feed performance of around 250 metric tons/h and a drive power of 331 kW are specified. The engine compartment for the diesel or electric-hydraulic drive is now located right in the middle of the crusher where it is easily accessible.
With a total weight without final screening unit of approx. 38,000 kg (with final screening unit approx. 46,000 kg) and a plant height of 3,140 mm, the new GIPO is ideal for fast and trouble-free transport. Weight-optimised, flexible, fast in use and easy to transport: exactly what counts in the compact class, which now has a new and extremely competent competitor in the GIPO P 101 GIGA. Incidentally, the new model fits perfectly into the gap between the GIPO P 90 and GIPO P 100 impact crusher models, which will remain in our range.
Robust, powerful and practical
With the GIPO P 111 GIGA, GIPO is now marketing an impact crusher that is ideally positioned between the two models GIPO P 100 and GIPO P 131. The transport weight is 59,000 kg with final screening unit and 50,000 kg without. Depending on the material, the feed performance is up to 300 metric tons/h and the drive power is 430 kW.
The technical features are also impressive here: robust impact crusher with an impact crusher inlet of 1,070 x 800 (920) mm and a rotor diameter of 1,200 mm, as well as the 2-deck final screening machine and light material separation using an air classifier, not forgetting the separate two-deck pre-screening. As with the GIPO P 101 GIGA, the same GIPO standards apply in relation to the quality of the steel structure, the processing units and the drive options. The sophisticated, state-of-the-art genset variant with its diesel-electric drive combines maximum energy efficiency with impressive independence. It also makes this model an environmentally friendly all-rounder that will easily fulfil future emission requirements in this configuration.
Positioned for the future
The two new impact crusher models denote a new generation of trendsetting impact crushers based on proven GIPO qualities. “Focus on the essentials” could be the new motto, which does not overlook a crucial aspect of the GIPO philosophy: individual, tailored solutions will always remain a GIPO trademark.
