Innovative demolition techniques from Europe, the Americas and Asia will be highlighted at the 10th World Demolition Summit (WDS) in Dublin, Ireland, on 7 and 8 November.
The conference will include speakers from the UK, Germany, USA, India, Russia and Switzerland with topics including:
- Hi-tech demolition of pre-stressed concrete in Munich, Germany;
- Use of drones to map demolition sites
- Demolition techniques in Russia;
- Removal of a major bridge in India;
- Impact of new dust regulations in USA
Speakers from companies including Sauer-Bau (Germany) Erith Contractors (UK), Raz-Max (Russia), Edifice Engineering (India) and Pix4D (Switzerland) will participate. More speakers and topics will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Summit, which will be held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, also includes an awards dinner. A record number of entries has been received this year, and the shortlists will be announced at the end of August at www.demolitionsummit.com
