BakuBuild, the Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition, is the largest international construction exhibition in the Caspian and Caucasus regions. It traditionally takes place at the end on October. This year, it will be held on 20-23 October in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku.
BakuBuild is supported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs’ (Employers’) Organisations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Union of Architects of Azerbaijan. BakuBuild has held “UFI Approved Event” status from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry for four years. The exhibition is organised by ITE Group (UK) and its partner in the Caucasus, Iteca Caspian.
BakuBuild will be held in the newly-built, international standard Baku Expo Center, which is the largest exhibition venue in the Caucasus and Caspian regions. Holding BakuBuild in Baku Expo Center will open up new opportunities for the organisation of the exhibition and for the participation of exhibitors. This year, the exhibition expects over 250 companies from 15 countries, which will occupy two pavilions of the complex, as well as the outdoor area. Traditionally, the exhibition features the national stands of Germany and Italy, and national groups from Finland and Iran. National groups from Lithuania and Ukraine have announced their intention to participate. Local companies account for 30% of exhibitors. BakuBuild presents a wide range of construction equipment, decorative materials, sanitaryware and road-building machinery. This year, for the first time, Aqua-Therm Baku – the International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary and Environmental Technology – will be held alongside BakuBuild. Aqua-Therm Baku will take place for the second time in Azerbaijan and bring together HVAC industry professionals. Over 50 companies from 12 countries – including Azerbaijan, Germany, Denmark, Iran, Italy and Switzerland – have already announced their participation.
The CaspianRealty exhibition, which takes place alongside BakuBuild, provides extensive information about the region’s real estate market and unique opportunities to establish partnerships with local players in the property sector. Caspian MebelExpo 2010, the 8th Caspian International Furniture, Interiors and Design Exhibition, will also be held alongside BakuBuild, and present interiors, interior design, wallpapers, home textiles, lighting, mirrors, crystal and much more.
BakuBuild will be accompanied by a comprehensive business programme including seminars, presentations and a roundtable on innovative technologies, and the urban planning and expansion of the city of Baku.
This year, BakuBuild will again present visitors with everything for construction, decoration and interior design. For prospective partners, the exhibition will be a major business forum for specialists from the region’s construction sector, and create conditions for more effective cooperation between companies in need of partners in related fields.
