Carthage

Carthage Expo – International Construction and Building Fair in Tunis, Tunisia (also known simply as Salon CARTHAGE) is one of the Maghreb region’s most significant trade exhibitions dedicated to construction, building materials, and related industry services. Established in 1993 and organised on a biennial basis by the Société des Foires Internationales de Tunis with support from national industry bodies, Carthage Expo has grown into a major professional gathering for exhibitors and visitors from across Tunisia, North Africa, Europe, the Arab world, and beyond.

Held at the Parc des Expositions et Centre de Commerce International du Kram in Tunis, the exhibition presents a comprehensive showcase of building and construction offerings. The show’s reach spans construction materials, structural systems, finishing and decoration products, doors and windows, HVAC and plumbing technologies, tools and equipment, services for building and design, and real estate development projects. A dedicated space for design offices, financial services, and real estate developers also allows participants to explore broader aspects of construction planning and investment.

Carthage Expo attracts a diverse professional audience that includes prime contractors, building specifiers (public and private), engineers, architects, surveyors, producers and resellers of construction materials, as well as technicians and trade professionals. Individuals planning building or renovation projects also attend to gather ideas and engage directly with product specialists.

Beyond product displays, the fair provides opportunities for technical conferences, workshops, and business-to-business meetings aimed at fostering industry innovation, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships. These activities help participants stay current with market trends, sustainability practices, and emerging construction technologies.

With its long history, broad international participation, and strong professional focus, Carthage Expo has become an essential event for anyone involved in construction, building supply, architecture, and real estate in North Africa and neighbouring regions.
