Baku Energy Forum

The Baku Energy Forum is scheduled to take place  at the Baku Convention Center in Azerbaijan. It is part of the annual Baku Energy Week, a long‑established global energy platform that brings together senior executives, government officials, industry experts, and investors to discuss strategic and technological developments across the energy sector.

Organised by Iteca Caspian with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) as key supporters, the Forum serves as a forum for dialogue on energy security, sustainability, market trends, and cooperation. It routinely attracts hundreds of international delegates representing major energy companies, state bodies and multilateral organisations.

The agenda covers core segments of the global energy landscape, including traditional oil and gas exploration, production, transportation and export logistics, as well as emerging themes in green energy, energy storage, distribution technologies, and the energy transition. Speakers and panel sessions focus on international cooperation, energy diplomacy, diversification of supply, and pathways to resilient and sustainable energy ecosystems.

Previous editions — such as the 30th anniversary Forum held in June 2025 — showcased high‑level plenary discussions on global cooperation, digitalisation in energy, infrastructure, and clean energy potential in the Caspian region, along with keynote addresses by global thought leaders and specialised sessions on climate and sustainability challenges. These events highlighted the Forum’s role in fostering innovation, partnership development, robust energy policy dialogue, and presentation of Azerbaijan’s strategic priorities to the international community.

With simultaneous interpretation available in multiple languages and extensive participation from global energy stakeholders, the Baku Energy Forum remains a pivotal annual convergence for shaping future energy strategies and strengthening cross‑border collaboration.
