The Balkans Infrastructure & Construction 2013 Summit is taking place on the 29th–30th May in Vienna, Austria. The latest Ministry to confirm their participation is the Ambassador Dr. Johannes Kyrle, Secretary-General of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, Austria. He joins a senior-level line with Ministers from each of the Western Balkan countries. IRN is also pleased to announce the participation of Zdenko Antešić, Deputy Minister Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Croatia and Oliver Kumrić, Assistant Minister Ministry of Maritime Affairs,Transport and Infrastructure, Croatia.

The Ambassador Dr. Johannes Kyrle will work alongside the Ministries of the key six Western Balkan countries to highlight the latest tender opportunities and outline a clear investment framework in the region.The Balkans Infrastructure & Construction 2013 Summit is one of the first senior level summits that provides a platform for directors of state owned companies, EU institutions and international investors to come together and network. The BIC 2013 summit will address the most pressing questions around tendering, infrastructuredelays, legal frameworks and transparency issues for fair competition. The summit takes place at a crucial time, when most of the countries in question are in discussions for obtaining EU candidate status.
