Brief and Highlights of BICES 2011

1. History and Scope
Founded in 1989 by formal Machinery Ministry of China, Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition and Seminar ( hereafter referred to as BICES ) has been held every two years since then, and now becomes to be a leading trade fair show of construction, building and mine machinery in Asia with total show space of BICES 2009 （the 10th session）being more than 150,000 square meters.
2. China Market Development Trend
According to the latest study made by Off Highway Research of London about ‘ Development Trend of Construction Equipment Industry’, China is now consuming and producing 50% of global demand of construction equipment, the study even predict that share of China market will take up to 52% of global sales in year of 2015, that is the end year of China’s 12th Five Year Plan.
According to China Construction Machinery Association ( CCMA ), even for some popular equipment, such as crawler excavator, wheel loader and mobile crane, both production and sales of those equipment in China in 2010 took more than 60% of global production and sales.
It is predicted by CCMA that sales of construction machinery industry in China market in year 2011 will be increased by around 17% compared to the sales of 2010, and within the 12th National Five Year Plan, the market and industry will keep a annual increase of not less than 10% .

3. Forecast of BICES 2011
Contribute to the strong development of both China Construction Machinery demand and Industry, booking and sales of BICES 2011 are very much promising, and so far out-door space had been fully booked out. It is predicted that more than 1000 exhibitors will exhibit at BICES 2011 with total space being reaching to 200,000 square meters, which is about 20% increase compared to the show of 2009
.
