CCF supports Australia's Biggest Construction Equipment Expo

Civil Contractors Federation (CCF), the peak body representing Australia’s civil construction industry, is once again supporting ACE EXPO Victoria.
The biennial expo, to be held from 12-14 November 2015 at Melbourne Showgrounds, showcases the latest products and equipment available for the construction, mining, quarrying, infrastructure and related industries — from attachments and fencing, right through to forklifts, graders and scrapers, excavators, temporary and fixed infrastructure and much more…
Luke Kasprzak from Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF), which runs the event, said ACE EXPO brings together visitors and exhibitors from engineering, earthmoving, civil and public works, quarrying, trenching, demolition, forestry and beyond.

“This is the show’s ninth staging and we have expanded it so it is even more valuable to over 3,000 expected visitors and our 100-plus exhibitors, who will display and demonstrate some 225 brands.”

“The CCF have long been a supporter of anything that provides value and support to the earthmoving and civil industry. CCF Victoria sees the ACE EXPO as one of the most effective and direct ways to get out amongst the people in our industry, hear the needs of contractors and look at what we can to support them.”

Luke Kasprzak said a venue move to Melbourne Showgrounds and a new indoor format had allowed to grow the event into a true trade show, putting everything under the one roof.

“The first day will have some sensational specials from exhibitors; check out those who are flying special green flags for never-to-be-repeated deals on leading brands.
On day two, meet up with industry colleagues at the CCF and Construction and Mining Equipment Industry Group Luncheon, then from 6pm, people can have a drink on us as they hear some great live entertainment, and keep networking and winning new business.
Saturday is family day, but so parents can keep looking at hundreds of new products and services, we have some excellent things to keep the kids busy — and there’s even something for spouses.”

Luke said throughout the three days, ACE EXPO Victoria will also have free information sessions at a dedicated seminar stage, where people can hear the latest news and industry trends, and learn where Victoria’s civil contracting and construction industry is heading. “There is also a new Safety Zone, showcasing advancements in work-safety products and services, injury prevention and risk management — fundamental to keeping those who work in these vital industries safe.”

Luke said ACE EXPO offered visitors value across many areas:

  • Solutions to manage expenditure and increase profitability
  • The latest technology and innovations
  • Insights into improving efficiency and boosting productivity
  • Networking with peers and exchanging ideas
  • Staying ahead of trends in the civil contracting and earthmoving industry

“Civil Contractors Federation is the peak body representing Australia’s civil construction industry, so we’re really pleased that once again they’ve come on board supporting this event, which is the largest of its kind in Australia and certainly the premier event for Victoria.”

ACE EXPO 2015 will be held from 12 -14 November at Melbourne Showgrounds. It’s open 10am-7pm (Thursday), 10am-8pm (Friday) and 9am-4pm (Saturday).
