The UK arm of the diesel engine manufacturer, Hatz, is ready to support their German counterparts as they get set to display a wide range of the water and air-cooled engines at this year’s Bauma – a trade fair described by the organisers as the “The World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery”.
Bauma takes place in Munich from 8th to 14th April 2019. Visitors will find Hatz in Hall A4, Stand 449. In addition to the stand, the company will also be presenting demonstration engines and machines in action on outdoor area 34A.3. This includes engines with the new E1 technology and the use of the new the diagnostic solution HDS2. Representing HatzGB will be managing director, Joe Wilmer, supported by two sales managers, Tarryn Jackson and Matthew Jones.
Hatz believe they have developed the world’s first electronically controlled (E1) fuel injection system and digital control unit for single-cylinder diesel engines for the industrial sector. Consequently, the Hatz teams will be showcasing this new technology throughout six days of Bauma.
Also on display will be their air-cooled B and D-series with E1 technology up to 12 kilowatts. Their flagship 3H50TICD and 4H50TICD models of the water-cooled H-series, up to 55 kilowatts will be set alongside the full Hatz range EU Stage V engines.
Visitors will be able to view the Hatz complete range of engines for use in countries with strict emissions regulations.
Commenting on this line up, Joe Wilmer said, “

We are all looking forward to the 2019 Bauma. Our new E1 technology is certain to be of keen interest to all users and OEM manufacturers that use single-cylinder diesel engines. With this E1 technology, we can enable light equipment such as, mobile lighting towers or generators to be propelled into the era of the Internet of Things (IoT); which believe is an exciting way forward for plant and machinery.”
