Enns/ Hafen 18 March 2015 – Today is the big day: In the heart of Austria over 1,000 construction machines and vehicles will be digging, shovelling and leveling! Today in Enns/Hafen, the largest construction machine demonstration show MAWEV Show has opened! And all in a unique environment: Imagine a suburb with 200 houses on a 700 m2 property, a power supply of 2,500 kvA and a street 3.1 km long. The MAWEV Show, which runs until Saturday, 21st March 2015, opens its doors for the 9th time on exactly such an area – 140,000 m2 large! Fort the first time excavators, cranes & Co. as well as trucks can be tested on site!
MAWEV Show is the industry meeting point in spring 2015
The MAWEV Show will attract visitors with its over 1,000 construction machines and vehicles. The event area with over 140,000 m2 offers domestic and international manufacturers the ideal conditions to impress the industry professionals with their construction giants. The numerous construction equipment and vehicles can not only be examined at close range but also be tested on site.
Motto: “Demonstration instead of mere presentation”
For the ninth time, the visitors to the MAWEV Show 2015 will get an overview of the latest developments offered on the market – incredibly exciting and yet necessary for the economic success of building companies. Furthermore, the enormous dimension of the equipment and machines do not only cause the building professionals hearts to beat faster. Many of the displayed machines will be shown under realistic operating conditions. Special feature: Under the guidance of experts, the visitors can test the excavator, crane & Co. There will certainly be a lot of movement on the grounds!
New: For the first time there is a truck area with its own test track!
An innovation will impress the MAWEV visitors in 2015. On the truck test track, trucks from the company MAN can be tested on a 170 m track. On the east side of the site, the dumped and gravelled road offers ideal and realistic conditions in order to take the individual trucks through their paces.
The most exciting and most diverse construction site
During the set-up period, more than 350 boundary points were set via GPS. Just in the tent area, 2.5 km of cable in varying thickness was laid. More than 700 installers were working every day to bring the exhibition stands for the 200 exhibitors into shape. During the exhibition period there are more than 1,200 stand staff on site to provide expert tips to the visitors! The MAWEV Show is a major event, which on the four exhibition days offers national and international leading companies in the industry a unique platform to present themselves.
MAWEV Show presents a diverse exhibition area
At the outdoor exhibition of MAWEV, cranes that reach the sky, excavators that shovel deep and much more awaits the visitors. A total of 300 exhibitors and many more brands will present a unique product portfolio! In the outdoor area the visitors will see construction machines, construction vehicles, construction and transport equipment for construction, civil engineering and highway construction, machinery, equipment and vehicle accessories as well as tools, structural engineering equipment, formwork and scaffolding, cranes, rough terrain forklifts, crushing and screening units, construction waste recycling, waste disposal and landfill technology, road and open space planning – surveying, designing, power equipment, conservation, care and winter maintenance, road safety, communication technology and vehicles, planning, surveying, consulting and financing. In the mobile hall, there are a further 100 exhibitors. Here, trade fair information as well as a café are available to visitors et al. Adjacent to the mobile hall, there is a dining room. Here, Grossauer Event, which served at the World Ski Championships in Schladming, caters to the gastronomical needs of the visitors. After all, a day at the construction site really makes you hungry!
The new event area
The MAWEV Show 2015 is only a few miles away from the previous location and offers both perfect transportation and organisation conditions. On an event area of more than 140,000 m2, there are 100,000 m2 exhibition space, 7,000 m2 mobile halls, and 40,000 m2 parking lots available for the festival of excavators, cranes and other heavy equipment. The exit Enns/West from the highway A1 is located in close proximity to the event site. Abundant exhibition and parking lots eliminate the need for shuttle services. An optimal soil and the geographical top location indicate that the MAWEV Show 2015 will be once more the leading event in the construction industry.
