Abbotsford, BC – The big iron will once again be on display at Tradex in Abbotsford during the Pacific Heavy Equipment Show, taking place May 13-14, 2016.
An outdoor and tented event, the show encompasses over three acres of exhibit space in the Tradex north parking lot. New for 2016 – the show will feature an updated layout with a larger display of equipment right up front! Once again, it will be co-located with TRUXPO, Western Canada’s largest commercial trucking show.
Together, the Pacific Heavy Equipment Show and TRUXPO represent a one-stop trade event for those in the heavy equipment and trucking industries. These shows were initially scheduled for September 2016, but the team behind the shows felt that the new spring date would work better for the industry.
“Springtime is typically where we see the bulk of the trucking and heavy equipment shows taking place across Canada,” said Mark Cusack, National Show Manager.
“For us, pairing up the trucking and construction industries has been a great fit, and with the success we had in 2014, it only made sense to continue down that road. Moving the show dates to May will let us stay competitive and help us expand our reach at a time when industry personnel are more likely to be available to attend an event of this nature.”
Prior to this year, TRUXPO was the only one of Canada’s four national truck shows to remain in the fall. Both EXPO CAM in Montreal and Truck World in Toronto have changed from fall to spring dates within the last decade, and the Atlantic Truck Show in Moncton, NB, has always taken place in the spring.
The Pacific Heavy Equipment Show is THE venue for equipment owners, operators and purchasers representing the fields of general construction, trucking, public works, utilities, aggregate production, road building and maintenance from across Western Canada to see, demo and purchase the equipment and services they’ll need to sustain their operations into the future.
