Nominations now open for 2011 AEM Hall of Fame – Recognizing equipment industryinnovators and leaders
Nominations are now open for 2011 inductees into the off-road equipment industryHall of Fame program of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). The AEMHall of Fame seeks to create a wider public understanding and appreciation of theindustry’s role in global prosperity and improved quality of life, not only in thepast but for the future. Nominations may only be submitted online at the Hall ofFame website. Deadline for submissions is July 18, 2011. Full details are online at www.aemhalloffame.com.
Nominees should be from the manufacturing, distribution, rental or end-user sectorsof the off-road equipment industry. Any person, living or deceased, who has madenoteworthy and specific contributions that have helped improve the industry iseligible. Candidates will be evaluated on five criteria that are critical to thehealth of the off-road equipment manufacturing industry: 1) innovation, 2) industrycontributions, 3) leadership, 4) corporate citizenship/social responsibility and 5)sustainability.
The Hall of Fame was created in 1993 to honor the pioneering individuals who haveinvented, managed, built and led the off-road equipment industry. The Hall of Fameis AEM’s way to recognize, celebrate and preserve the history of these outstandingindustry leaders. As in past years, in 2011 nominees will be evaluated by anindependent panel of industry experts. Since its inception, more than 35 industryleaders have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

We hope theinnovation and creativity exemplified by Hall of Fame members will inspire the nextgeneration to continue our industry’s legacy of productivity, sustainability andgrowth,” stated AEM President Dennis Slater.
