Nordbau 2012 – “Construction Machinery – a Comfortable Workplace”

Some more than three months prior to inauguration of the 57th NordBau in Neumünster, the exhibition halls and outdoor areas are fully booked. Whether for exhibitors of machinery and equipment or building materials manufacturers, Northern Europe’s largest compact construction fair is again the front runner on the exhibitions track.

Of great interest for constructions experts from near and far is most certainly the outdoor exhibiting area, where construction equipment dealers and manufacturers will show their new and further developments under the motto “”construction machinery – a comfortable workplace”. Humanization of the working environment and safety improvement are, for years, considered the dicta of experienced construction engineers and for the duration of NordBau they will run as a red thread through all areas of the exhibition. As such, at numerous booths on the open exhibition area, the interplay between experienced drivers and powerful machines will be shown.

The industry aims to show professionals and visitors, under all competitive pressure, that man and machine must build a unity – and a lasting one, over long working days. Only when the operator feels comfortable and finds ergonomic working conditions, combined with high safety standards, only then nothing will stand in the way of best possible machine performance. Exchange of know how at the booths, with the sound knowledge of experienced operators and technicians belong to the everyday routine of the northern German industrial fair, all in the sense of the high performance construction work.

It is particularly the engine technology, last year’s focal point at NordBau, to show an outstanding continuation. Visitors may expect an informational explosion on the fairgrounds in Neumünster, for the continuously tightening measures of the emissions legislation would provide, especially during 2012, for grounds of an innovational variety, which is currently to prove worth on numerous construction sites.
