(Neumünster) Meeting point NordBau:From 4 to 8 September 2024, the exhibition grounds of the Holstenhallen Neumünster – in the north of the Hamburg metropolitan region –will once again be filled with the latest innovations in construction machinery, construction equipment and commercial vehicles for the trade industry, construction companies and municipal institutions. Many manufacturers and dealers are already booking their stand space for the following compact trade fair for building construction and civil engineering in northern Europe directly after NordBau, so that the outdoor area in particular is almost fully booked by the end of the year. Further developments in motor technology, battery,and hydrogen technology to save energy and emissions are an important aspect of the trade fair for companies in the construction industry. The need to present new technology and new equipment and for trade visitors to touch it and discuss it is unabated. In general, face-to-face meetings and direct dialogue are very popular with industry representatives.
Northern European Building Congress – Discover, Connect, Inspire
For the first time this year, CONBAU Nord is offering an exchange of information and advice at the highest professional level. The unique congress on housing construction and heating transition will feature high-calibre speakers who will share their latestfindings and perspectives with the specialist audience. Experts from Denmark and Sweden explain experiences and strategies, such as how the heat transition is perceived in Scandinavia. Supported by strong partners from Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, the Association for Contemporary Building (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für zeitgemäßes Bauen e.V.), Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein and NordBau Neumünster, the aim is to establish the event as an authoritative congress. At the same time, it should act as a leading platform for interdisciplinary exchange and diverse co-operations. A platform will be created where all players can meet: Planners, industry, service providers, clients, local authorities, scientists and financing institutes. CONBAU Nord will take place on 4 and 5 September 2024 at the Holstenhallen Congress Center Schleswig-Holstein, embedded in the NordBau exhibition grounds. The event for future issues in the construction industry enables the exchange of knowledge, the presentation of innovative solutions and best practices as well as the creation of new, valuable networks. Further training programme including trade fair visit
In addition to this top-class specialist congress, NordBau will once again offer an extensive training programme. Half of these specialist conferences of the various associations and bodies of the construction industry are officially recognised training events of the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Architects and Engineers. Integrated into the trade fair, participation in the surrounding seminars invites you to visit the exhibitors and the rest of the trade fair programme.
Heat transition, energy supply, consumer information
The trade fair will once again feature a large number of exhibitors with products for private homes and housing construction. The focus in 2024 will once again be on heating, air conditioning and energy supply. Suppliers will be showcasing heat pumps, solar and photovoltaic technology, pellet heating systems, home and security technology, tiled stoves, insulation materials, windows,and doors. But living space design is also catered for: kitchens, tiles, flooring, staircases,and bathroom elements are available in a wide variety. There are also new products to discover for outdoor areas: patio roofs, carports, facade elements, sun protection and fences.
The free offer from the Consumer Advice Centre and Haus & Grund Schleswig-Holstein will be available again in 2024: The advice stand for homeowners on energy generation and saving. Independent energy advisors will give tips for your home without an appointment -always taking into account the changing legal situation.
NordBau is one of the most important trade fairs for construction and municipal technology in Northern Europe. Since 1956, it has offered private and public builders as well as the trade public a wealth of construction-specific information and promotes communication and synergy effects. The construction industry associations accompany NordBau with specialist conferences and congresses. Seminars and training courses provide forums for innovations, discussions,and contacts. NordBau thus creates a basis for impulses and decisions, it informs and connects.
