NordBau, the largest North European construction trade fair will present again this year in Neumünster a compact offer of machines and building materials. The exhibitors await more than 70.000 local and abroad visitors on the 69.000 m² of open area and on over 20.000 m² in halls.
The construction machinery manufacturers and the building materials producers do already expect a successful show. Altogether, this year they expect a moderate growth of the entire construction industry. This positive atmosphere – we are already sure – shall be also experienced at the fair by the employees and representatives of municipalities, the investors, and all other specialized visitors.
A mainstream segment of exhibiting area on the compact construction fair is allocated also this year to the manufacturers and distributors of communal service equipments for cities and communities. This is also reflected, during two fair days, in the Praxis-Forum “Communal and Environmental Technologies”. Topics on care, preservation and rehabilitation of sports grounds and sustainable green areas will be discussed during an advanced training course, on September 6th and 10th. This includes also the professional use of communal service machinery and equipment. Right next to the conference hall, in the open area, visitors can gather information on the new and further developments related to carrier vehicles, tractors, sweepers, mowing machines and rototillers, to shredders up to winter maintenance technology.
The organizers and speakers will address particularly municipalities on the 9th edition of the “German sewer rehabilitation days”. The topics to be discussed in the frame of this event are ranging from tasks of the network operators, rehabilitation of pressure pipelines, trenchless building technologies, and actual repair techniques, to current experience. Experts believe that almost 20 percent of the sewerage in Germany should need either immediate, short term or long term maintenance. Often, by lack of appropriate strategy, the empirical findings are not implemented as meaningful maintenance or investment programs.
Next to the Schleswig-Holstein Municipality, another partner of the “German sewer rehabilitation days” is also the Hamburg Wasser, nation wide largest company in drinking and waste water management. Their engineers and scientists work on effective solutions for towns and communities, in accordance with the climate and demographic evolutions.
