Record line-up for the start of bauma China

bauma China has beaten its own record: Between November 27 and 30, 2012, over 2,600 exhibitors from 39 countries will be lining up for the start of this “International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment”, taking place in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). That figure represents an increase of almost 40 percent.
Eugen Egetenmeir, Managing Director of Messe München: “This statistic shows how important the Asian market still is for the global building machinery industry. We are very pleased to report that bauma China will be taking up all the available capacity at the SNIEC, even though we were not able to meet every request for more booth space.”
The high level of interest from outside China is also very satisfying. In total there are eight national pavilions – Austria, Germany, Finland, Great Britain, Italy, Korea, Spain and the US. In addition, for the first time, there will be a joint stand of exhibitors from Incheon City, organized by the Incheon Chamber of Commerce in Korea.
