September 2013 — South East Asia's biggest mining industry trade show – Mining Indonesia 2013 held in Jakarta from the 4–7 September 2013 – saw more than 12,000 visitors from all over the world attend the prestigious event including Shandong Lingong Machinery Co., Ltd., China's leading wheel loader manufacturer.
In the most populous city in Indonesia, the 16th International Mining and Minerals Recovery Exhibition and Conference took place at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran from the 4–7 of September. About 12,000 visitors from all over the world attended the event in Indonesia's capital and about 800 companies from more than 30 countries and regions particpated.
The mining sector is important to Indonesia as it's a significant provider of export earnings, economic activity and employment whilst supporting regional development. Indonesia is one of the world's largest producers of tin, coal and copper and makes a huge contribution to the Indonesian economy, accounting for 11.54% of GDP. Minerals and related products represent 19% of Indonesia's total exports – gold being the largest revenue earner.
The exhibition space covered more than 30,000m2 including a comprehensive outdoor area. China's leading wheel loader manufacturer, Shandong Lingong Machinery Co., Ltd., (SDLG), proudly displayed its range of powerful and reliable machines. The four units shown on the company's booth ranged from the 7 t LG918 to the 17 t LG958L, which are renowned for their excellent value.
LG918 – power and performance
The 7 t LG918 wheel loader boasts a powerful, high torque Yuchai YC4D80-T20 engine, which not only offers energy savings, but cuts noise and maximizes power. The machine's counter-shaft, power-shift transmission delivers improved transmission efficiency, while the reinforced axles ensure reliability and longer service intervals.
LG936L – optimal operator comfort
The 11 t LG936L features a single-lever hydraulic control system for simplicity and ease of operation. The cab's shock-absorbent seat, wrap-around glass for increased visibility, air-conditioning and heating systems ensure that operators have a comfortable ride on any terrain, in any weather. The machine also features an advanced Deutz engine which offers lower oil consumption and noise with ultimate power.
LG938L – full loads every time
The 11 t L938L wheel loader is designed for optimum break-out force to ensure a full bucket load every cycle – improving productivity and efficiency. The machine's long wheelbase and high tipping load mean it stays stable – even on rough terrain. The machine also features the powerful and reliable Cummins 6BTS.9-C130 supercharged engine, which is perfectly matched to the hydraulic pump for further enhanced performance.
LG958L – reliability in action
The 17 t L958L wheel loader features ZF powershift transmission. Configured to allow four forward, and three reverse settings, this single-lever control transmission makes the machine easy to operate. The structural components are specially adapted for job site conditions and put through rigorous strength tests to ensure the durability of parts.
A wide variety of industrial sectors attended the show from mineral and mining companies to power generation and environmental sectors. The event was an ideal platform for SDLG to show case its latest wheel loaders, which were well received by both visitors and potential customers.
