Representing the market
Germany, the USA, Japan, the Netherlands, Australia and the United Kingdom are keyexport markets for hardware made in Taiwan. With the highest numbers of imports in 2013, retailers, traders and importers from these countries seem to value the innovation and quality at competitive prices. According to the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre Taiwan, the power tool sector has seen an especially strong demand of international companies in the last two years.
Since 14 years Taiwan Hardware Show (THS) is the annual event where Taiwan’s hardware industry gathers to present its newest products, discuss the latest technical developments and meet with global industry professionals. As a B2B platform, THS strives to deliver the best experience for everyone seeking to get to know the huge Taiwanese hardware market and to be the first to find the latest high-quality products that are exported all over the world.
International Impressions
After a successful THS in 2013, German purchasing manager Arie Meller confirmed that “THS was a successful gathering of manufacturers, dealers, suppliers and buyers.” and specified: “Taking the event to Taichung has truly paid off for me because I had the opportunity to visit the factories of several exhibitors. Moreover, the quality of the products and innovations I discovered was excellent.”
Describing the reason for his annual visits of THS, Managing director John B. Brennan of the Australian company AIMEX reported that “AIMEX and its customers respect the workmanship and business ethics of products showing ‘Made in Taiwan’ as a sign of confidence for quality made products that cover both professional trade specifications for hand tools and reliable DIY hardware products.”
THS has developed the global market for the past 14 years and it is focused solely on premium quality in order to meet the high requirements of international purchasers.
