On 20-25 of April, Terex Trucks participated in Intermat for the first time since becoming a division of Volvo Construction Equipment with hugely successful results.
The Terex Trucks stand was situated near other Volvo Group companies Renault, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment. On it, the Terex Trucks brand was proudly displayed while highlighting the company’s long history, offering access to the new website and product videos, and featuring three massive Terex Trucks. The TA300 and TA400 represented the articulated dump truck line while the rigid line was represented by a TR60.
The red carpet was rolled out to all visitors who enjoyed the chance to see what it was like behind the wheel of the TA400 and TR60. Terex Trucks specialists had the opportunity to interact with customers, dealers and general visitors to answer product questions, discuss business and emphasize the beneficial relationship with Volvo Construction Equipment.
Almost 100 customers and dealers joined the Terex Trucks team for a river cruise along the Seine in downtown Paris on Tuesday evening. It offered a casual environment and stunning backdrop to continue to build relationships within the network.
Amidst the dynamic atmosphere, two new dealers were signed: SMT in Central and West Africa and Eurasia Mashinery in Kazakhstan. In addition, nine TR100 trucks were sold into the Myanmar market by Leadway Heavy Machinery (individual press releases linked).
“This was an ideal opportunity for our team to make a statement at Intermat,”
says Paul Douglas, director and general manager of Terex Trucks.
“We were able to increase brand awareness while reemphasizing to our dealers that we are committed to supporting our relationships. We had many face to face discussions that resulted in new dealers, sales, and a reenergized excitement about our brand and products.”
