The Vitoria Stone Fair opens 2024 with the expectation of generating R$ 1 billion in business.

Scheduled to take place from January 30 to February 2 at the Carapina Pavilion in Serra, Vitória Stone Fair 2024 kicks off the annual events agenda for the sector, attracting global attention to the vast diversity of Brazil’s natural stones. The country, boasting over 1,200 varieties, is the fourth-largest global producer of ornamental stone and the largest outside the Asian continent, ranking fifth in the number of exports.

Setting trends, the fair helps boost the natural stone market in the early months of 2024, with the expectation of generating around R$ 1 billion in business, drawing 15,000 visitors from across Brazil and 50 countries.

The event brings together major companies involved in the extraction and processing of natural stones, equipment, machinery, supplies, and technologies. Moreover, the fair serves as an opportunity to conduct business, evaluate products and services, implement marketing tools, expand initiatives and launches, strengthen partnerships, and explore new markets.

“The Vitória Stone Fair is an international market reference and one of the main tools for the sector’s strategic positioning. Each edition reinforces its vocation to foster business, be a source of technical content, and generate connections among the key players in the industry. In 2023, we noticed an increase in visitors from Eastern Europe, for example. In 2024, it will be no different. So, it is an excellent opportunity for Brazilian natural stone to conquer new markets,” emphasized Flávia Milaneze, CEO of Milanez & Milaneze.

And there’s more! The president of Centrorochas, Tales Machado, revealed that the entity will bring journalists and buyers from markets not well-known to companies through “It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone,” aiming to fill a gap in the Brazilian sector. “Regarding the arrival of international guests, the novelty for 2024 is that we will offer a differentiated experience: besides experiencing the productive arrangement of stones, they will have the opportunity to get to know more about Espírito Santo, and for this, we are seeking a partnership with the state government to offer a complete experience beyond the fair.”

It is worth noting that Espírito Santo is the largest exporter and the main producer in Brazil, accounting for 81.67% of the country’s exports in value and volume. It also has the highest number of companies in the sector.

Ed Martins, President of Sindirochas, highlights the importance of the Vitória Stone Fair. “For the ornamental stone sector, it is estimated that 2024 will be a year of challenges and opportunities. The difference between success and failure will depend on focus, professionalism, and cooperation. The Vitória Stone Fair comes precisely to stimulate the sector, to strengthen relationships, promote trade exchanges, train professionals, and set the next trends.”

In addition to the economic impact, creating opportunities in various areas, including business tourism, hospitality, transportation, and gastronomy, there is also a significant technical contribution. This includes the exchange of experiences and lectures aimed at buyers, architects, designers, and professionals in the construction market, in spaces such as the Stone Summit, held in partnership with Casa Vogue, a reference in identifying and pointing out national and international trends in decoration, architecture, design, and art.

The event’s registration is already open exclusively through the link https://vitoriastonefair.com.br. Organized for over 20 years by Milanez & Milaneze — a company that is part of the VeronaFiere Group — the Vitória Stone Fair is promoted by Sindirochas and Cetemag and has the support of Centrorochas.
