USETEC 2013 – Strong demand for exhibition space – Unique world-wide – Early Bird Bonus available until 15 September 2012

The preparations for USETEC 2013 are running at full speed. After the traditionally quiet summer period, the organisers have experienced strong demand for exhibition space. Suppliers from every sector have already registered – from metalworking to robotics, measuring and testing equipment, lifting appliances and conveyors, agricultural machines, plastics processing machinery, tools, moulds and spare parts. Exhibitors from Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Slovakia and Spain are already certain to be represented.

USETEC is the undisputed No. 1 trade fair in the global used market. No other trade fair that focuses exclusively on “second-hand” equipment offers even approximately the same spectrum of products that can be found at USETEC. USETEC is supported by all the leading organisations in the sector, including the Trade Association for Machine Tools + Tooling (FDM) in Bonn, which as technical sponsor plays a key role in setting the agenda of USETEC and the development of the event. Further participating associations include the Italian Association of Used Machine Tools (AIMUU), the Federation of the German Export Trade (BDEx) in Berlin, the Dutch Used Machinery Association (DUMA), the European Association of Machine Tool Merchants (EAMTM) in Brussels, German Trade and Invest (gtai) as well as the association LandBauTechnik Bundesverband from Essen. The newly founded European Auction & Remarketing Association (EARA) is also represented on a group stand at the trade fair. The organisers maintain a network of close and active contacts with many GIZ projects abroad, especially in interesting developing and industrialising countries.

“In 2013, we are returning USETEC to its traditional date at the end of April,” explains Florian Hess, Managing Director of Hess GmbH in Weingarten/Baden. “The new hall situation at Koelnmesse with Hall 6 and the adjacent outdoor site allows us to structure the sectors even better. We are in close contact with the exhibitors in order to find the optimum stand position for everyone.”
Exhibitors looking to highlight their standing in the expanding used market would therefore be well advised to book their stands early for USETEC 2013. The Early Bird Bonus offered by the organisers is still available until 15 September 2012 and provides an additional incentive for exhibitors to secure their stand position quickly at USETEC 2013.
USETEC features used machinery and equipment for every branch and sector of industry. USETEC 2013 will take place from Monday, 22 April to Wednesday, 24 April 2013 in Cologne / Germany.
