BICES 2011 – Great success!

There were 1,200 participators at BICES 2011, which has an exhibition area of 200,000 square meters, both of which represented an increase of 25 percent or more over the previous exhibition. It was an exhibition with the largest number of enterprises and the most complete range of products in the history of BICES, and also regarded as the largest and most influential construction machinery exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region.
With “Green Reform Lift the future” as the theme, the exhibition not only showcased the latest and most comprehensive range of products, services and technologies, but also highlighted the latest trends in the world construction machinery industry, which focused on innovative design, the promotion of a construction machinery culture, advocacy for humanity concern, the explanation of industrial responsibility, as well as gathering industrial elites and the improvement of industrial upgrade with all efforts.
The exhibition covered earth-work removal machinery, concrete machinery and lifting machinery. Moreover, the number of exhibitors manufacturing such machinery as aerial work machinery, mineral vehicles, commercial vehicles and special purpose vehicles, crushers and screening machinery, bricks and tiles machinery and construction site facilities has increased markedly. Well known enterprises in hydraulic, transmission and electronic control fields, together with major global engine manufacturing enterprises are were presenting lots of new products featuring energy conservation and environmental protection. The vast range of high-quality construction machinery on display highlighted the “green” theme of the exhibition.
With the support of more than 40 domestic and foreign industrial associations, the exhibition attracted domestic participators in industries ranging from domestic energy, transportation, water conservancy, wind power, mine industry, as well as foreign participators from more than 20 professional organizations from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Germany.
During the exhibition, a series of high-quality and high-level activities were held, including the 50 Key Manufacturers Summit, the China Construction Machinery Emergency and Urgent Rescue Equipment Exposition, the BICES 2011 Oversea Markets Orientation Conference, BICES China and the First Concept Design Competition for International Construction Machinery and Special Purpose Vehicle.
This exhibition was not only enable participants to witness the achievements resulting from the rapid development of the construction machinery industry worldwide, but also provided an opportunity for Chinese and overseas customers to further understand the future development of the construction machinery industry and promote technological and trade cooperation and communication between domestic and foreign enterprises.
