Event Helps Connect Military Veterans with Industry Jobs
MILWAUKEE (September 9, 2015) – Online bidding is now open for the ICUEE 2015 benefit auction, which will help connect military veterans with industry jobs. The auction is October 1 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. on the show floor.
ICUEE 2015 will be held September 29-October 1 in Louisville, Kentucky USA (Kentucky Exposition Center).
Auction items donated by ICUEE 2015 exhibitors include:
- Trips: American Country Music’s Party for a Cause in Las Vegas, NASCAR package, and a Caribbean cruise
- Specialty items: Drone and a guitar signed by country singer Kip Moore
- Equipment: Horizontal loading device, Armor tooling system, and a fluid pressure transmitter.
The auction is no minimums, no reserves (all items will be sold), and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to The Call of Duty Endowment. This national organization helps military veterans find high-quality jobs, including in the construction/utility industry.

“The auction is for a great cause and ICUEE exhibitors were really excited to get involved,” said Show Director Sara Truesdale Mooney. “The utility industry really has a ‘giving back’ spirit and online bidding is another way to involve more industry professionals and start the countdown to the show.”
She noted that the auction is a centerpiece of new features at ICUEE 2015 on October 1 that include a complimentary lunch (sponsored by Freightliner) and a complimentary bourbon tasting at show close.
The ICUEE benefit auction is presented with the support of Benjamin Media and J.J. Kane Auctioneers.
ICUEE 2015 will be the largest on record! At more than 27 acres of exhibits, with a record 900-plus exhibitors, including more than 200 companies new to the show, ICUEE 2015 will offer the largest and most comprehensive gathering of utility industry suppliers in the Western Hemisphere.
ICUEE, the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition, is also known as The Demo Expo and is owned and produced by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). The show brings together industry professionals to gain comprehensive insights into the latest technologies, innovations and trends affecting their industry.
