SDLG to showcase popular and proven road building technology at Excon 2017

This December, SDLG is expected to bring its best-selling wheel loaders and motor graders to Excon 2017, the biggest Indian trade show for the construction industry this year. SDLG will be highlighting how its reliable machines can help contractors optimize job site efficiency in India’s increasingly busy road building sector.
From December 12-16, SDLG will exhibit a range of construction equipment at outdoor booth 24 at Excon 2017, a leading trade show for the construction industry in India. SDLG’s 570 m2 booth will feature several of the company’s best-selling products, including the G9138 and G9190 motor graders. These motor graders, like all SDLG´s other equipment, are designed to provide reliable performance, easy maintenance and high return-on-investment.
“In India, we’re seeing fast-rising demand for construction equipment, especially in the road building industry. For contractors to meet ever-tighter deadlines, reliability at job sites has become more important than ever,” said Sanu George, business head for SDLG India. “India has been a success story for SDLG over the past decade and we now have an established and growing base of customers who understand how we can solve their challenges with our proven equipment and rapid support, provided through our extensive dealer network.”
Reliable solutions for road construction
A highlight at SDLG’s booth will be the G9138 motor grader, the newest addition to the company’s range. It has a working weight of 12,000 kg and is powered by a Dalian Deutz WP6G140E22 engine which delivers 111 kW of power at 2,100 rpm. Up to 75.4 kN of traction force can be achieved, while maximum forward and backward speeds are 39 km/h and 24.5 km/h respectively.
“SDLG’s machines are known for their reliability and flexibility, and the G9138 offers all of this and more,” said Sanu. “As a highly maneuverable machine, the G9138 allows precise control via a fully digital instrument board, and is able to make turns at more acute angles for close-quarter work or when working on smaller road projects.”
The G9190 is the bigger brother to the G9138, and another popular choice for road building projects. With an overall working weight of 15,800 kg, the machine is equipped with a Dalian Deutz engine which delivers a traction force of up to 82 kN. The G9190 features a 3.962 m blade that can cut depths of up to 635 mm. The blade can also be inclined up to 47° forward and 5° backward.
Best-selling equipment
In addition to its motor graders, SDLG is also expected to showcase the L933 and the L936 wheel loaders. They are two of the three wheel loaders that SDLG has made available in India, and both are 3 t-rated. The L933 is the newer machine, having debuted at bC India last year.
“The L933 is ideal for handling ready-mix concrete or in applications such as road building and quarrying. It is a simpler and more cost-effective wheel loader than other options we offer in India, but retains the reliability and robustness upon which we have built our reputation,” said Sanu.
Excon is a trade show organized by India’s premier industry association, Confederation of Indian Industry. It will take place at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center in Bengaluru, India, and is expected to welcome more than 10,000 exhibitors from across India and around the world.
