Besides ensuring international promotion of the only exclusive event for this segment in Latin America, participation in IRE will serve as a showcase for what Brazilian companies offer in this segment.
TeCobI Expo confirms its participation in the International Roofing Expo (IRE), currently considered the biggest fair in the world in the roofing, roof cover and waterproofing segment. At the event, held February 22-24 in Orlando, Florida, United States, TeCobI Expo will be present at stand number 979.
Besides promoting the TeCobl Expo, which is the only Latin American fair exclusively focused on these sectors, the American event will serve as a platform for promoting Brazil’s civil construction market.
“This is a great opportunity to expand the international visibility of our event and of exhibiting companies. Our idea is for our stand to serve as a showcase so IRE visitors and exhibiters will include the TeCobI Expo in their calendars and for them to come to Brazil to do business,” explains the commercial manager of TeCobI Expo, Priscila Fasterra, who embarks to the United States in a few weeks.
She says strengthening relations with international companies is very important, because it will be through this networking that Brazil will be able to promote the exchange of technologies, best practices and export and import contracts in order to make the sector even more specialized.
IRE’s organizers are so excited about this partnership that during the TeCobI Expo, in June of this year, they are going to conduct several actions to promote the IRE 2013. “The synergy between the events is excellent for exhibiters and visitors, and it will further reinforce the relationship between American and Brazilian companies,” underscored the director of the International Roofing Expo, Lindsay Roberts.
At the 2011 edition, IRE welcomed more than eight thousand visitors, 18% more than the year before. For the 2012 edition, organizers are expecting even more professionals visiting the more than 420 confirmed exhibiters. Companies from around the world are interested in doing business with Brazil aimed at investments for holding the 2014 World Cup, the 2016 Olympic Games and the government’s housing program Minha Casa, Minha Vida. “This is the moment to seek new technologies for Brazil and to show the world not only our demands, but most of all, our potential,” concludes Priscila Fasterra.
TeCobI Expo – International Roofing, Roof Cover and Waterproofing Fair – will be held June 18-20 at the Expo Center Norte’s Yellow Pavilion, in São Paulo.
